Common questions
- Where is my stuff saved? On your device only. There is no account or cloud backup, so deleting the app (or clearing its data) deletes it.
- How do I back up my dog? Settings → Backup file. Restore it in Settings → Restore. The file has your notes in plain text, so keep it private.
- How do I erase everything? Settings → Erase everything (confirm twice). Or delete the app / clear this site’s data, then delete any backup files you saved.
- Can someone else see my notes? Not from us, because nothing leaves your device. Anyone who can use your device can open the app, though.
- Need to talk to someone? If you’re in crisis in the U.S., call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). Basset Haven is a cozy game, not therapy or medical care.
- Does the app collect any data? No. Nothing leaves your device.
- Does it work offline? Yes.
- Refunds: App Store purchases go through Apple. Use reportaproblem.apple.com.
