Basset Haven Privacy Policy
Short version: Basset Haven collects no data. Nothing leaves your device: no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Your dog, check-ins and notes are saved on your device only.
Who we are
Basset Haven is made by HUMAN RESOURCES ON DEMAND INC., a New York corporation (“we”).
What stays on your device
Basset Haven saves its data on your device only, in the app’s local storage (basset-haven-v1): your dog’s name, the last day you visited, your dog’s fullness and rest levels, Cozy Tokens, your mood check-ins (the date and calm, anxious or sad, up to 365), your Memory Basket notes (short notes you write, up to 100), the sweaters and decor you own and use, your best biscuit score and your sound setting. We never upload any of it.
No data collected
Basset Haven has no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no sign-in, and it doesn’t send anything to us or to anyone else. We can’t see how you use the app.
Your notes and check-ins are private to this device
Memory Basket notes and mood check-ins stay on this device. That also means anyone who can use or unlock your device can open the app and read them. Use your device’s passcode if that matters to you.
Backup files
In Settings you can save a backup file (basset-haven-backup-YYYY-MM-DD.txt). It contains everything listed above, including your notes, in plain text. The file goes wherever you save it, and you control it. We never see it. Keep it somewhere private, and delete it when you no longer need it.
Deleting your data
Delete single Memory Basket notes in the Basket. In Settings, Erase everything (two-step confirm) clears all Basset Haven data on this device (basset-haven-v1 and related keys) and returns you to first-run. You can also delete the app, or on the web clear this site’s data. Backup files you saved are separate, so delete them yourself.
A cozy game, not care
Basset Haven is a cozy game for comfort and fun. It isn’t therapy, counseling or medical care, and it doesn’t diagnose or treat anything. If you’re in crisis in the U.S., call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
What we don’t do
No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no selling or sharing personal information, no tracking across other apps or websites, and no data brokers. We don’t collect personal data that identifies you.
Children
Basset Haven is a general-audience app. It isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. The app collects no data from anyone.
Your choices and rights
Everything the app stores is on your device, and you can delete it by deleting the app or clearing its data. We hold no data about you. If you email us at support@pugglemonster.com, we use your email only to reply.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above and the app’s listing.
