Backseat News Privacy Policy

Effective October 27, 2026

Short version: Backseat News collects no data. Nothing leaves your device: no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Stories you play stay on this phone.

Who we are

Backseat News is made by HUMAN RESOURCES ON DEMAND INC., a New York corporation (“we”).

What stays on your device

Progress, scrapbook/newspaper pages, edition choices and settings (including the parent lock / family code) are saved on this device only. There is no free-text entry in the stories — answers are multiple-choice. Sharing or exporting is blocked until a parent unlocks with the family code; when you do share, it goes through your device’s share sheet, so we don’t see what you share or who you share it with.

No data collected

Backseat News is offline-first. It has no accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising, and it doesn’t send anything to us. We can’t see how you use the app.

What we don’t do

No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no selling or sharing personal information, no tracking across other apps or websites, and no data brokers. We don’t collect personal data that identifies you.

Children

Backseat News is made for families and kids to use together. It isn’t a social network, it doesn’t ask children for personal information, and it doesn’t collect data from anyone. Parents control sharing with the parent lock.

Your choices and rights

Everything the app stores is on your device. Delete the app or clear this site’s data to erase it. We hold no data about you. If you email us at support@pugglemonster.com, we use your email only to reply.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above and the app’s listing.
